What is an ANSI-Accredited Standards Developer?
An ANSI-Accredited Standards Developer (ASD) is “an organization that has voluntarily submitted its standards development procedures to ANSI for review and accreditation.” ANSI stands for the American National Standards Institute. PJRFSI’s procedures comply with ANSI’s Essential Requirements. ANSI provides oversight to PJRFSIs standards development activities.

What is PJRFSI’s mission as an ANSI-Accredited Standards Developer?
It is our primary mission to develop a world-class, voluntary, commercial standard for the Cannabis and Hemp Industry that is acceptable from an auditing perspective. This standard will be developed under a rigorous consensus process with input and collaboration from stakeholders and stakeholder groups.
